What type of travel can I use?

You can use any type of travel luggage lock with your baggage that you checkin. A few examples are displayed above. It can be combination padlocks or keyed locks. Some suitcase can come with integrated locks and these can also be used.

If a security officers needs to inspect your luggage then they will have to cut off the lock which could result in damage to your suitcase or bags. To avoid this it is best to use travel padlocks with the distinct red diamond logo known as TSA Approved padlocks.

Security officials at a large number of international airports have TSA master keys which allow them to open the locks, inspect the baggage and then relock the cases without breaking the padlock or damaging the suitcase.
